Common Alloys for Mobile Micro Welding

Tool Steel
Hardened steels such as S-7, H-13, P-20, D-2, CPM, and M-2

Aluminum
6061, 7075, 5356

Magnesium
Magnesium can be welded by the mobile micro tig welding process. Magnesium like aluminum is produced with different tempers. These are based on heat treatment and work hardening.

Copper
Copper and most copper alloys can be joined by the micro tig welding process.

Bronze
Micro tig welding can be used to accurately control brazing of Bronze.

Cast Iron
Cast Iron is difficult to weld, mobile micro tig welding allows for many parameter adjustments to be made to help control the process.

Cobalt
Welding-cobalt is done with mobile micro tig welding, plasma arc welding, resistance spot welding and with high energy processes.

Nickel
Micro tig welding processes can be used to weld nickel and its alloys and matching welding consumables are available.
